Hotel Zaza is one of Dallas’ premier upscale hotels. Located near the corner of Mckinney an Pearl streets, it’s a well located, and lavish hideaway. With the Dragonfly restaurant/bar, and the covered Urban Oasis in winter, it’s a very popular hot-spot on weekend nights.
In the colder months, a deck and tent are placed over the pool, and couches brought in,thus creating the popular Urban Oasis. Many celebrities come to ZAZA to relax, and have a good time. Professional photographers are rarely allowed, thus ensuring guests privacy.
The hotel staff and doormen are some of the best in Dallas, bar none. Every professional courtesy is extended to ensure a good time is had by all.
Hot Times:
Friday and Saturday nights typically stay strong from 10pm-2AM. A live DJ spins at the Urban Oasis, and people mingle at the inside Dragonfly bar. There is no cover, but do dress to impress, as Hotel Zaza is the upper end of dallas nightlife venues.
Type of People:
A very sophisticated venue, it draws many of Dallas’ elite. Celebrity sightings are quite frequent. The crowd tends to range from 25-50 in age, with all wearing their Saturday night best. The dance floor can get packed, but the experience doesn’t completely revolve around it. Meeting and mingling is the dominant theme. Business magnates, rock stars, and the hoi polloi all mix at Zaza.
Parking:
The hotel has valet parking. Near side streets on the east side of Mckinney can be parked on without the fear of being towed also.
